About Us

We are passionate about our heritage and dedicated to the conservation and creative re-use of historic buildings.

We are unusual in having both architectural and conservation skills under one roof which allows the development of the most appropriate and innovative solution to questions of re-use, design and conservation of historic buildings.

We can provide a total service from historical research, through conservation plan writing and on to careful and sympathetic design proposals and implementation.

Association with other professionals

Successful conservation requires close liaison with other disciplines and we are fortunate to have built up good relationships with associated professionals who share our passion for preserving our heritage. These include structural engineers, topographical, building and quantity surveyors, archaeologists, draughtspeople and historians.

We also work closely with the NZ Historic Places Trust.
